How I Created it...
On New Year's Eve I was helping my brother with a family portrait session in Rodanthe, NC. I found some really wicked looking trees. I used a stream from an old photo on a trip to the Pisgah Forest in the Mountains of North Carolina. Add in one prom photo of Victoria from last year who requested Angel wings on her photo and you have the end result. Keep visiting www.kirkpullenphotography.com for cool new composites in 2013!

Composites
I have been working on composites portraits the last few months. Those of you who don't know what that is, let me explain it. First, you take a person's portrait in a studio or other location and then, without the person being present, you go and take pictures of a scene in another location and then combine them in Photoshop. The advantage is that you don't have to drive a person to a scenic location and battle the elements. They can conveniently come to the Kirk Pullen Photography studio(here in Warsaw, NC) to get their picture taken. It can take several hours in Photoshop to get the look perfected. Here are some example photos. If you are interested in getting a composite photo then give me a call (910-590-7761) and we can discuss the setting you and look you desire. I am running a special on composite photos. You get an 11 x 14 metallic print of the composite photo for $100.
