St. Patrick's Day Festival

We had a really fun time last week at the St. Patrick's Day festival in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.  My wife and I were working at the Kirk Pullen Photography booth, selling wildlife prints and photos of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Every hour we gave one 8 x 10 print away to someone in the crowd. Participants had to put their name and email address on a card and put it in our handsomely decorated St. Patrick's day bucket. We asked random people from the crowd to draw a name out of the bucket. Winners were able to choose the 8 x 10 of their choice from the pictures that were available. The weather was a little on the cool side, but the sun was out and attendance at the festival was great! If you have never been to the St. Patrick's Day festival, then I highly recommend visiting the beautiful city of Emerald Isle, NC.

Real Estate Photography Warsaw, NC

I had the pleasure of working with the West Agency in Warsaw, NC this week. They needed photographs of houses they have contracted for sale. A great way to increase the chance of selling your house is to hire a professional photographer to take your real estate photos. A good real estate photo will have straight vertical lines, accurate white balance, few distractions,
good exposure and correct composition. A quick cell phone capture of a house may not have any of those things and will certainly not catch the eye of a potential buyer.
