St. Patrick's Day Festival

We had a really fun time last week at the St. Patrick's Day festival in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.  My wife and I were working at the Kirk Pullen Photography booth, selling wildlife prints and photos of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Every hour we gave one 8 x 10 print away to someone in the crowd. Participants had to put their name and email address on a card and put it in our handsomely decorated St. Patrick's day bucket. We asked random people from the crowd to draw a name out of the bucket. Winners were able to choose the 8 x 10 of their choice from the pictures that were available. The weather was a little on the cool side, but the sun was out and attendance at the festival was great! If you have never been to the St. Patrick's Day festival, then I highly recommend visiting the beautiful city of Emerald Isle, NC.

Thankfulness

I very thankful that God allows me to operate a photography business. I am also thankful for everyone who has used Kirk Pullen Photography for their photography needs. My First Viral Picture

I submitted a photo of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse to the VISIT THE OUTER BANKS webpage yesterday. They featured the photo on their Facebook page today and I had 1300 Likes in just 20 minutes. At the time of making this blog post, the count stands at 4300 Likes and almost a 1000 shares. Many people have commented that they would like to have a print of the photo.
